Niemenrannan klubitalo

Niemenrannan klubitalo is a protected brick building in Tampere with two stories and a mansard roof. It features decorative details around the main entrance and bay windows that define its exterior appearance.

Built in 1919 based on architect Birger Federley's designs, the structure originally served as a residence for the chief engineer of Enqvist Company. It reflects architectural styles from early post-war Finland.

The building preserves ceramic stoves from its original construction era, showing early 20th-century Finnish craftsmanship in its details. These elements remain visible to visitors exploring the carefully maintained interior spaces.

The structure is currently undergoing renovation to create four residential units, with two apartments exceeding 100 square meters. Visitors should be aware that renovation work may affect access to the building.

The facade restoration in 2024 involved manual reconstruction of ornamental details according to the original 1919 specifications. This craftsmanship demonstrates a commitment to preserving authentic details.
