In 1977, the Daughters of Charity signed an agreement to transform their former nunnery orchard into a public garden for community use.
The garden bears the name of Sister Catherine Labouré, who reported visions of the Virgin Mary in the adjacent Chapel of the Miraculous Medal.
Located at 29 rue de Babylone, the garden remains open from 9 AM until 7:30 PM, with access through what appears as a building courtyard.
The space includes an educational vegetable garden where local children learn cultivation techniques and plant growing methods throughout the seasons.
