Church Sainte-Eulalie of Montpellier, Religious monument in Montpellier, France.
The Sainte-Eulalie Church exhibits French baroque architecture with its symmetrical design, sculpted details, and tall rectangular windows along its walls.
Built in 1740 as a chapel for the Mercedarian convent, the church later became the primary place of worship for law students and the Order of Malta.
The church houses the skull of Saint Eulalia, brought from Barcelona by religious members during their establishment in Montpellier.
Visitors can attend Sunday Mass at 10:00 AM, with additional services held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during the academic year.
Ferdinand von Hompesch, the last Grand Master of the Order of Malta before Napoleon's conquest, rests within the church's walls.
