Kornat, Island in the Kornati archipelago, Croatia
Incoronata is an island in the Kornati archipelago off the northern Dalmatian coast of Croatia. It is long and narrow, with a rocky shoreline that breaks into many small coves along its southern side, while the northern coast remains relatively straight.
The island served for centuries as a stopping point for fishermen and sailors crossing the Adriatic. It was once connected to the neighboring island of Lunga, but the sea separated them long ago.
Incoronata is only reachable by boat, with no bridges or ferries connecting it to the mainland. There are no shops or restaurants on the island, so visitors should bring all food, water, and supplies they need.
Incoronata is the only island in the entire Kornati archipelago with a natural freshwater spring. The spring sits in a small valley on the northeastern side and has been used by fishermen and sailors for centuries.
