Nainagiri, Jain pilgrimage site in Chhatarpur district, India.

Nainagiri is a shrine complex comprising numerous temples distributed across a mountain and its surrounding area. The site extends from the hilltop down to lower elevations with multiple religious structures built throughout.

The oldest structure here was built in the 11th century and houses an important religious statue. Since then, the site has developed into a significant pilgrimage destination with many additional temples added over time.

The site serves as a pilgrimage destination where visitors participate in annual ceremonies that reflect local spiritual traditions. These gatherings attract devotees who come to worship and pray together in this sacred space.

The site is situated on a hillside, so comfortable shoes and time for walking and climbing are important. Accommodation is available on-site, and visitors should plan their travel in advance since the nearest major transport hub requires travel time to reach.

One notable temple stands in the middle of a pond and is surrounded by an ancient pillar and opposite religious structures. This unusual arrangement over water makes the location visually distinctive from other shrine complexes.
