Yao Hill, Mountain peak near Guilin, China.
Yao Hill reaches an elevation of 909 meters, forming the highest point within Guilin's jurisdiction and extending in a north-south direction along Lingchuan County.
The mountain received its name from the Yao Emperor Temple constructed on its western slope during the Qin Dynasty, marking its early significance in Chinese history.
Traditional ceremonies take place near the Shoufo An temple, built during the Ming Dynasty, where stone foundations remain as evidence of ancient religious practices.
Visitors can access the mountain using a cable car system with 175 gondolas covering 1,416 meters in length and ascending 423 meters in elevation.
The mountain slope features Tian Ci Tian rice field, which according to local records produces abundant harvests each year regardless of weather conditions.
