Woodside, Grade II historic building in Eastern District, Hong Kong.

Woodside is a red-brick residential building on Mount Parker Road that contains three exhibition galleries and educational spaces for visitors. The structure includes a nature garden, resource center, and activity rooms for hands-on learning experiences.

The building was constructed in the 1920s as residential quarters for senior staff of the Taikoo Sugar Refinery. It passed into government ownership in 1976 and was later repurposed as an educational facility.

The building now serves as an educational hub where people come to learn about local wildlife and natural systems through displays and hands-on programs. These activities help visitors understand how nature fits into Hong Kong's urban landscape.

The center is easily accessible by public transportation and features multiple areas to explore throughout the grounds. Visitors should allow time to see both the indoor exhibitions and outdoor nature areas.

The building retains its original Edwardian architectural style while serving as Hong Kong's first biodiversity education center. This blend of historic design and modern educational purpose creates an unusual setting for learning about nature.
