Shek Kip Mei Public Library

The Shek Kip Mei Public Library spans 862 square meters on the seventh floor of the Shek Kip Mei Estate Ancillary Facilities Block at Woh Chai Street.

The institution opened on September 18, 2014, replacing the former Pak Tin Public Library to accommodate the growing needs of Sham Shui Po District's 400,000 residents.

The library maintains a collection of 70,000 items and 100 newspapers and periodicals in multiple languages, supporting the educational needs of the local population.

Visitors can access the library through Exit A of Shek Kip Mei MTR Station or take bus routes 2B, 2F, 86, 86A, 104, and 702A to reach the facility.

Since its establishment, the library has experienced a tripled number of registered borrowers and doubled quantity of borrowed materials compared to its predecessor.
