Jimmy Bridge

Jimmy Bridge is a pedestrian crossing over Wai Yip Street with a distinctive Z-shaped white structure accented by soft pink and blue panels. Rectangular window openings cut through its walls, creating geometric patterns inside the passage.

The bridge was built as part of Hong Kong's network of pedestrian overpasses designed to handle the city's dense population. It serves alongside many similar structures that safely guide foot traffic across busy roads.

The bridge earned its popular nickname from a local film that showed a chance meeting between two strangers at this exact spot. People today recognize it as a filming location and stop here to recreate scenes from that moment.

To reach the bridge, walk down Siu Yip Street from Kowloon Bay Station and turn left onto Tai Yip Street. The structure is straightforward for pedestrians to find and sits in a well-traveled area with steady foot traffic.

Sunlight filters through the rectangular window openings and casts detailed shadows on the floor that shift throughout the day. Photographers return at different times to capture how the light patterns constantly transform the interior.
