The Wiesbaden Bismarck Tower was a wooden structure built in 1910 on Bierstadt Height and stood at about 50 meters tall, making it the largest among all Bismarck monuments in Germany. The construction was only meant to be temporary since funds were lacking for a permanent building with modern facilities.
The structure was built in 1910 on the site of a former watch tower and served as a military observation point during World War I. It was demolished in 1918 after the wooden construction became increasingly unstable.
