Hünenburg Telecommunication Tower

The Hünenburg Telecommunication Tower is a concrete structure in Bielefeld that serves as a transmission facility for radio and television signals across the region. The facility contains multiple technical levels with antenna equipment designed to distribute broadcasts throughout the surrounding area.

The tower was built in 1972 as a replacement for an older installation and became part of Bielefeld's telecommunications infrastructure. The previous structure from 1952 was later converted into an observation platform.

The tower is closed to the public due to its broadcasting function and is strictly monitored. Visitors can view the structure from outside and photograph it from the surrounding area.
