St. Michael's Church, Baroque Jesuit church in Aachen, Germany
The three-galleried basilica features a Renaissance facade with illuminated niches and a northwest-oriented tower built between 1658 and 1668.
Constructed from 1617 to 1628 for the Jesuit Collegium, the building served multiple purposes, including a granary during French occupation after 1773.
The church now functions as a Greek Orthodox center, with interior paintings added by artist Christophanis Voutsinas in 1997 and 2002.
Located at Jesuitenstraße 8, the church maintains regular services and welcomes visitors interested in religious architecture and Orthodox traditions.
The building's exceptional acoustics make it a preferred venue for choir and orchestra performances throughout the year.
