St. Pankratius, Parish church in Kaisersesch, Germany
The neo-Romanesque church features a western tower from the 14th century and was designed by architect Lambert von Fisenne between 1898 and 1900.
The church received its own parish rights in 1322, one year after Kaisersesch obtained city rights, separating from the Hambach parish of Prüm Benedictine Abbey.
The church contains valuable religious artifacts, including two crucifixes from the 17th century and liturgical vestments from Cologne dating to the 16th century.
The church serves as the headquarters for the Kaisersesch parish community and belongs to the Cochem deanery in the Diocese of Trier.
The church tower features a 24-meter-high spire with a distinctive tilt, caused by the sinking of its construction beams over time.
