Die heiße Fahrt

Die heiße Fahrt is a steel roller coaster at Wild and Leisure Park Klotten that stretches roughly 530 meters in length and reaches a maximum height of about 18 meters. The track winds through the park with multiple turns and sections featuring rapid directional changes.

The coaster opened on April 1, 2004, originally called Klotticoaster before receiving its current name. The land where it was built had previously been designated for a volcano project that would have included a restaurant and water attractions.

The ride's name translates to 'The Hot Ride' in English, referring to its fast and intense experience for visitors. This naming choice has become part of how people talk about the park's attractions and what they expect when visiting.

The coaster accommodates about 550 people per hour across five cars with eight seats per car, each secured with lap restraints. Visitor wait times vary depending on the time of day you arrive at the attraction.

The steel framework supporting the coaster was originally designed for a much larger project that never came to completion. These structures today serve as a reminder of the park's earlier plans and how amusement parks evolve over time.
