Ibn Khaldoun Cave, Historical cave in Frenda, Algeria.

The cave contains multiple chambers with natural rock formations and extends deep into the mountainside of the Tiaret Province region.

Between 1375 and 1378, the renowned scholar Ibn Khaldoun used this cave as a sanctuary where he wrote significant portions of his historical manuscripts.

The cave maintains strong connections to local Berber heritage and serves as a testament to the academic achievements of North African scholars.

Visitors can access the cave through marked pathways from the village of Tawghazout, with guided tours available during daylight hours.

The cave's rock walls contain geological formations that date back millions of years, displaying different mineral compositions throughout its chambers.
