Ahmed Shawki Museum

Ahmed Shawki Museum is a literary museum in Giza that documents the life of the renowned Egyptian poet Ahmed Shawki. The building spans two floors with eleven rooms displaying manuscripts, photographs, medals, and personal items from different periods of his life.

The building was purchased in 1914 as a private residence named Karmat Ibn Hani and served as the poet's home. It was converted into a national museum in 1972 through a presidential decree to preserve his literary legacy for the public.
