Rehab City, Modern residential district in New Cairo, Egypt.
Rehab City is a large residential district in eastern Cairo comprising ten distinct phases with apartments, villas, and modern urban infrastructure. The development spreads across a wide area organized into separate neighborhoods with varied housing types.
The project began in the late 1990s as Egypt expanded its urban boundaries. The Talaat Moustafa Group developed this residential complex to address housing demand.
The districts contain schools, sports facilities, and community centers where residents gather regularly. These spaces shape the daily rhythm of neighborhood life.
The district lies east of Cairo and connects via the Eastern Ring Road and Cairo-Suez Road. Main shopping areas are located at Gate 6 and Gate 23 for easy access to services.
The location at an elevation of about 60 meters (200 feet) above Mukkatam Heights provides better air quality and different temperature patterns than central Cairo. This geographic position creates a somewhat different climate within the district.
