57357 Hospital, Pediatric cancer hospital in Cairo, Egypt
The 57357 Hospital is a pediatric cancer center in Cairo with 320 beds and specialized oncology equipment. It treats approximately half of all pediatric cancer cases in the country and provides comprehensive care to patients.
The project began in 1998 with a fundraising campaign and took its name from a bank account number. The center officially opened in 2007 and became a leading treatment facility for children with cancer.
The hospital was built through donations from Egyptian citizens, and the Grand Mufti recognized the fundraising campaign as a legitimate charitable contribution. This community support demonstrates how much society values caring for children.
The facility is located in El-Saida Zenab neighborhood and operates a hotline with multiple telephone lines for patient support. Visitors should check access procedures beforehand and allow time for appointments and facility navigation.
Each floor features its own color design that creates a friendly environment and supports the psychological wellbeing of patients. The grounds include a large outdoor park where children can play and rest during their treatment.
