Cala Marçal

Cala Marçal is a small sandy cove nestled between rocky outcrops that create a sheltered swimming environment. The gently sloping seabed and calm waters make it accessible for different swimming abilities.

The cove developed as a natural harbor where local fishing communities gathered their boats for shelter and trade. This role remained important through centuries of maritime activity in the region.

The beach maintains its traditional Mediterranean character with local restaurants serving fresh seafood caught by Felanitx fishing boats.

Parking is limited at this small cove, so arriving early helps secure a spot during busy periods. Basic facilities like showers and restrooms are available, but services are minimal compared to larger beaches.

The beach's natural rocky formations on both sides create a sheltered swimming area with water depths gradually increasing toward the sea.
