La Cucumelle

La Cucumelle is a mountain summit in the Hautes-Alpes standing at approximately 2,700 meters with steep slopes composed of slate rock. The approach leads to a narrow summit plateau that can be accessed from several directions.

The summit has a distinctive cone shape with light-colored slate peaks that make it visually recognizable from a distance. This striking outline serves as an unmistakable landmark when viewed from the valley of Monêtier-les-Bains below.
