Kiskő-oldali Cave, Natural cave in Bajót, Hungary
The entrance of this limestone cave measures 5.5 meters in width and 4 meters in height, forming a large arch shape in the rock face.
The first written documentation of the cave dates to 1925, when it received its name from György Baits, a local administrative official.
Archaeological excavations in the cave revealed numerous prehistoric tools and bone remains, indicating early human presence in the Gerecse mountain region.
The cave extends approximately 46 meters horizontally with two main passages connected by a small shaft, requiring basic lighting equipment for exploration.
The cave formation resulted from thermal karst processes, where carbon dioxide enrichment in water caused specific patterns of limestone dissolution.
