Description

Sri Vadaranyeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple in Tiruvallur district with three corridors and a five-tiered main tower. The structure includes several shrines and columned halls that provide visitors with different spaces for prayer and exploration.

Built in the 12th century by the Chola dynasty, the temple bears inscriptions spanning from the reign of King Paranthaka Chola-I through the Vijayanagara period. These carved records show how the temple evolved through different ruling periods.
