San Paolino, Florence, Baroque church in central Florence, Italy.
The San Paolino church features a single nave structure with four chapels on each side, crowned by a prominent dome constructed in 1693.
Founded in 1094, the church underwent a major reconstruction in 1667 under architect Giovan Battista Balatri, who rotated the building 90 degrees.
The interior decorations include notable artworks by Italian masters such as Baldassare Franceschini, Fra Angelico, and Giovanni Domenico Ferretti.
Located at Via di San Paolino 8, near the Church of Ognissanti, the building remains under government ownership since 1810.
The church changed its name to San Paolino in 1208 to distinguish itself from another San Paolo church at the Ospedale dei Convalescenti.
