Museo dell’officina profumo - farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella

The museum preserves centuries of perfume-making traditions through its collection of historical documents, antique bottles, and original recipes from medieval Florence.

Located at Via della Scala, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering guided tours through its historical rooms and laboratories.

The museum maintains the original pharmaceutical laboratory where Catherine de Medici commissioned her personal rose water fragrance in the 16th century.
