Santa Maria della Pietà

Santa Maria della Pietà is a Baroque Catholic church in Prato featuring a Tuscan-style portico at the entrance. The interior centers on an ornate altar made of polychrome marble crafted by Giovanni Battista Cennini.

The building was constructed between 1617 and 1620 following reports of a miraculous event that occurred nearby. The miracle involved a 14th-century image of the Madonna and Child that became the focus of this new church.
