Akasaka Biz Tower, Contemporary skyscraper in Akasaka, Japan
Akasaka Biz Tower is a modern skyscraper rising 179 meters above Akasaka with 39 floors above ground and 3 below ground, forming part of the larger Akasaka Sacas complex. The building houses office spaces, retail shops, and dining venues in an integrated structure that combines workplaces with public areas.
The architectural firm Kume Sekkei completed this building in 2008 as part of the Akasaka 5-chome TBS Development Project. This marked a significant transformation of the neighborhood with a modern complex that changed the area's infrastructure and business landscape.
The second floor hosts an art space with spherical installations by a contemporary American artist, creating a cultural venue within the commercial building. This gallery allows visitors to see modern art while moving through the business district, blending office life with creative expression.
The building offers parking for vehicles and houses shops open until 21:00 along with restaurants serving until 23:30. Its location near Akasaka station makes it easy to reach and navigate the different areas of the complex.
The building brings together major corporations like Hakuhodo, Inpex, and Tokyo Electron, which operate their headquarters here within office spaces. This concentration of significant business leaders in one location makes it a center of Japanese commerce and demonstrates the strategic importance of the site.
