Okoba Station is a closed railway station in Hitoyoshi situated at ground level with basic platform facilities and a simple station building. The unmanned terminus once served as the endpoint for a local rail line but has been abandoned.
The station opened in the early 1900s as a terminus for a regional rail branch serving the Hitoyoshi area with freight and passenger services. Rising costs and competition from road transport led to the line's closure in recent decades.
The site can be visited at any time since it is no longer in operation and there are no restrictions or schedules to follow. Walking around the grounds during daylight hours allows you to see the building structure and remaining platform details more clearly.
