Yumeta Company, Japanese animation studio
Yumeta Company is an animation studio in Tokyo, Japan, that has been producing television shows and films since 1990. The studio employs around four hundred staff members who work in teams on different aspects of animation, from character design to background creation and coloring.
The studio was founded in 1986 as Shizuoka Animation and adopted its current name in 1990. In 2009 it merged with Hal Film Maker and briefly became TYO Animations, before being acquired by Graphinica in 2017 and returning to the name Yumeta Company.
The studio is located in Tokyo and works in collaboration with other studios, giving visitors insight into teamwork in film production. Work areas feature storyboards, sketches, and animation software on computers, with staff focused on different stages of production.
The studio has become known for its flexibility, working with other studios to complete productions and meet quality standards across various types of animations. This adaptability allows it to take on tasks ranging from smaller coloring work to planning entire episodes.
