南港大橋, Girder bridge in Suminoe-ku, Japan.

The Nanko Bridge connects different sections of Suminoe-ku district with a central span extending 63.1 meters over the Nanko waterway.

Construction of the bridge took place between 1969 and 1974, requiring specialized engineering solutions due to the soft reclaimed land foundation.

The bridge structure incorporates both road traffic lanes and railway tracks, representing Japanese engineering methods for integrated transportation systems.

The bridge carries four lanes of traffic in each direction and includes dedicated paths for the Hanshin Expressway and New Tram Port Town Line.

The structure received the Tanaka Award from the Japan Society of Civil Engineers for its technical achievements in soft ground construction methods.
