Kaibara Jin'ya, Administrative headquarters in Tamba, Japan

The Kaibara Jin'ya consists of reception rooms, administrative offices, and residential quarters built in traditional Shoin-zukuri architectural style with wooden structures.

Constructed in 1714 as the center of local governance, the complex served as both residence and office for ten generations of the Oda clan.

The site illustrates the governance methods of feudal Japan through its preserved architectural elements, including the distinctive Shotoku-mon gate and flying goose formation.

Visitors can reach the complex by taking an 8-minute walk from Kaibara Station on the JR Fukuchiyama Line, with entry fees set at 200 yen.

The reception hall connects to the main wing through an uncommon architectural arrangement that remains unchanged since its initial construction in the 18th century.
