Nagao Bridge

Completed in March 1888, the bridge stands as one of the earliest stone arch bridges built during Japan's rapid modernization period. Its construction represented a significant shift in how the country developed its infrastructure for transportation and commerce.

The Japan Society of Civil Engineers has recognized Nagao Bridge as an Important Cultural Heritage site for its architectural and engineering contributions.
