Mount Renge, Mountain peak in Ōmachi, Japan.

Mount Renge rises to 2798 meters in the Northern Alps of Japan, featuring a broad summit covered with diorite rock formations.

In 1584, military commander Sasaki Narimasa led his troops across Mount Renge's snow-covered Sarasarakoshi Pass during a significant campaign.

The Oku-no-miya shrine of Wakaichiji stands near the summit, representing centuries of spiritual connection between local communities and the mountain.

Climbers can access Mount Renge through a six-hour trail starting from the Alpine Route's Ogi-sawa, passing through the Hirūro Snowfield.

The mountain's south ridge contains multiple connected peaks, including Kitakatsu-dake, Funakubo-dake, and Fudō-dake, leading toward Ebōshi-dake.
