The central library of Naha consists of a large collection of books, magazines, and digital media across multiple floors in downtown Naha.

The Naha City Library system developed after World War II to provide educational resources to the local population during the reconstruction period.

The library maintains an extensive collection of materials about Okinawan history, traditional arts, and local customs, supporting research and education.

The main branch opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with different schedules on weekends and regular closures on Mondays.

Seven branches of the Naha City Library network offer specialized services, including audio books and materials for visually impaired readers.
