寄宮

Yoriimiya is a residential neighborhood in central Naha that combines homes, schools, and public facilities across a mixed-use district. Multiple roads and transit lines run through the area, connecting it to surrounding neighborhoods and the city center.

The neighborhood formed in 1946 from the consolidation of three separate settlements after World War II. This reorganization was part of Naha's postwar urban reconstruction.

The Central Library and Civic Hall anchor the neighborhood as gathering places where locals come for events, classes, and to access collections about Okinawan history and culture.

Several bus stops throughout the neighborhood connect to central Naha and nearby districts. The area is relatively flat and easy to navigate on foot, with good access to major transportation hubs.

The neighborhood absorbed residents who relocated from the Naha New Urban Center area after United States military control of that land following World War II. This population shift shaped the community's composition during the postwar reconstruction period.
