Yogi Park, Urban park in Naha, Japan.
Yogi Park is an urban park in Naha that features walking paths, playgrounds, and open green spaces. It contains more than 400 Kanhizakura cherry trees distributed throughout its grounds.
The park was founded in 1970 and ranks among the first urban planning parks in Naha. Its creation was part of a broader city development plan from the 1950s.
The park serves as a gathering space for families and neighbors, especially when the Kanhizakura cherry blossoms bloom in early February. People come to enjoy the pink flowers and spend time along the paths and play areas.
The park is located near the Yogi intersection along National Route 330 and is easy to reach. From either Asato or Makishi Station, it takes roughly 15 minutes on foot to arrive.
A vintage D51 222 steam locomotive is on display within the park grounds. The engine originally operated in the Nobeoka area of Miyazaki Prefecture before being relocated here.
