Gifu Nagaragawa Medow

Gifu Nagaragawa Meadow is a sports facility in Gifu with separate soccer and rugby fields built on natural grass. The grounds can hold around 4,600 spectators across different seating areas and feature LED lighting for evening events.

The facility was developed to support the local sports community and provide training grounds for regional teams. It also served as a temporary home for FC Gifu while their main stadium underwent improvements.

The venue brings together young athletes and local teams from around Gifu who use the fields for practice and matches throughout the year. This is where you see the community's commitment to developing soccer and rugby at grassroots levels.

The venue is laid out so visitors can easily move between the different seating sections, and LED lighting makes evening matches and training possible. The site is closed from April through June to allow the grass to recover and stay in good condition.

The eight LED light towers create even brightness across the field, making it possible to hold professional training and matches after dark. This lighting system was designed to avoid harsh glare that would strain the eyes of players and spectators.
