Aomi Minami Port Park

Aomi Minami Port Park is a metropolitan park along Tokyo Bay with green areas, walking paths, and sports facilities located next to container terminals. The space includes several vantage points where visitors can watch maritime traffic and the bay.

The park was created in 1997 as part of Tokyo's waterfront redevelopment initiative. Its establishment marked a turning point in converting industrial areas into spaces open to the public for leisure.

The park brings together Japanese garden design with modern port architecture, showing how Tokyo balances green spaces alongside active shipping operations. People use the pathways to experience this blend of nature and working maritime activity.

The park sits four minutes from Telecom Center Station and provides restrooms, accessible parking, and rest areas throughout. Walking the pathways and exploring the different vantage points gives a good sense of the entire space.

An observation platform rises about 100 meters above ground with views of container ships, Rainbow Bridge, and Tokyo Tower across the bay. This vantage point makes it easy to watch the interplay between large vessels and the city skyline.
