大甲橋

The Daigai Bridge is a road bridge spanning Lake Nakaumi that connects two cities across approximately 1.7 kilometers. The structure employs rigid frame construction and stands among the largest of its engineering type in the world.

Construction took place between 1997 and 2004, replacing an earlier drawbridge that severely limited vehicle capacity and traffic volume. This modernization enabled unrestricted passage between the two shores.
