Tadao Park

The park extends across several acres of green space, featuring walking paths, open fields, and shaded areas for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

The municipal authorities inaugurated Tadao Park on March 31, 1977, establishing a dedicated recreational space for the residents of Yamazakimachi and surrounding areas.

Local organizations regularly schedule traditional Japanese performances and seasonal festivals within the park grounds, connecting residents through shared experiences.

The park remains open daily from sunrise to sunset, offering visitors access to restrooms, drinking fountains, and multiple seating areas throughout the grounds.

The circular public toilet facility, designed in collaboration with architect Tadao Ando, incorporates vertical metal louvers that allow natural light and air circulation.
