Mitaka City Yūzō Yamamoto Memorial Museum

The Mitaka City Yūzō Yamamoto Memorial Museum occupies a European-style residence where the writer once lived and created numerous literary works.

The museum originated in December 1926 and underwent transformation into a public institution in 1996, preserving the literary legacy of Yūzō Yamamoto.

The memorial museum contains manuscripts, photographs, and personal items that document the literary contributions of Yūzō Yamamoto to Japanese literature.

Located at Shimo-Renjaku 2-12-27 in Mitaka, the museum opens from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with an entrance fee of 300 yen per person.

The museum features a dedicated reading room where visitors can study Yamamoto's written works while experiencing the environment where he created them.
