Matsunaga Yasuzaemon Memorial Hall

Matsunaga Yasuzaemon Memorial Hall is a biographical museum in Iki housing materials related to an influential figure in Japan's electric power industry. The collection includes personal belongings, historical documents, and calligraphic works spanning his career.

Founded in 1971, the museum occupies the site of Matsunaga's childhood home and was created through cooperation between power companies and local groups. This collaboration aimed to preserve the legacy of a major industrial pioneer in Japan's energy sector.

Displayed works feature Matsunaga's handwritten words reflecting his philosophy on determination and personal strength. These personal writings reveal the thinking of someone who shaped Japan's early energy development.
