Yamanashi Prefectural Fujisan World Heritage Center

The Yamanashi Prefectural Fujisan World Heritage Center contains two sections featuring exhibits about Mount Fuji through interactive displays and a large paper model.

The center, which opened on June 22, 2016, documents centuries of pilgrimages to Mount Fuji and its role as Japan's highest mountain at 3,776 meters.

The South Hall presents traditional artwork, including representations of Mount Fuji in Japanese woodblock prints by artists through multiple centuries.

Visitors can reach the center by taking a 15-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Station or walking for 30 minutes along marked paths.

The facility features a 15-meter-wide Mount Fuji model constructed from washi paper, accompanied by augmented reality handsets for enhanced exploration.
