高原千葉村

Kogen Chiba Village is a recreational park in the mountainous region of Gunma Prefecture, featuring forest walking trails and designated camping areas for outdoor activities. The facility sits on elevated terrain where visitors can explore natural surroundings and enjoy a range of outdoor experiences.

The site originally operated as a youth nature center and forest campground for several decades before its closure in 2019. Following a change in ownership, it was transformed into a modern recreational resort.

The park serves as an educational center where visitors participate in agricultural activities and learn about local farming techniques throughout the seasons.

The park is accessible by car approximately 14 kilometers from Minakami Interchange and provides various facilities for camping activities. Visitors should be prepared to spend time outdoors and explore the trekking routes on foot.

The site became known by a new name following its transformation and the ownership change was part of a local development strategy. This reorientation shows how such places adapt to changing recreational needs.
