Numazu City Library

The Numazu City Library is a public library in Numazu with multiple floors containing reading spaces, meeting rooms, and an audio-visual auditorium. The building houses both physical and digital collections for community use.

The library was founded to strengthen educational resources in Shizuoka Prefecture and serve a growing city. It developed into a central knowledge hub for Numazu residents.

Children gather at the library every Saturday for storytelling sessions that introduce them to Japanese literature and foster reading habits.

The building is accessible on most weekdays and offers comfortable spaces for work and study. A book drop box allows materials to be returned outside regular hours.

Members can access both physical and digital collections, borrowing up to ten books and three electronic publications simultaneously for fourteen days.
