Otemachi One is a large commercial complex with two towers housing offices, shops, and an upscale hotel. The facility integrates these functions with a historic shrine preserved on the site, alongside dining and service businesses.
The project opened in 2020 and preserved a small shrine on the grounds that had stood there for centuries. This choice reflects how the site maintained its historical connection to the neighborhood.
The plaza within the complex serves as a meeting point where office workers and visitors move between contemporary architecture and traditional shrines. It creates a space where business life and local heritage coexist in daily experience.
The site sits directly above a subway station and is easy to reach. Visitors can find many restaurants, shops, and service facilities accessible throughout the day.
The complex features expansive green areas with ponds and native plants, which is rare in this dense part of Tokyo. These leafy spaces offer workers and visitors an unexpected place to pause.
