Museum Tower Kyōbashi, Contemporary skyscraper and museum complex in Kyōbashi, Tokyo, Japan
Museum Tower Kyoubashi is a 150-meter-tall structure with 25 floors above ground and two basement levels, completed in 2019. The building features open office floors without support columns and houses the Artizon Museum for art exhibitions.
The Artizon Museum opened in 2020 and displays collections originally established by Shojiro Ishibashi at the Bridgestone Museum starting in 1951. The building marks a new phase for the art collection, which relocated and expanded from its former location.
The building integrates office spaces with the Artizon Museum, blending work environments and art exhibitions in one location. Visitors move between corporate areas and gallery rooms displaying contemporary and classical works.
The building is generally accessible for offices and exhibitions with separate entrances for different users. Visitors should arrive early in the day to avoid crowds and view the exhibitions comfortably.
A hidden rooftop garden sits between the 21st and 23rd floors, offering visitors a green retreat among the upper levels. The aluminum louvers on the exterior facade regulate light automatically, creating distinctive lighting effects throughout the interior spaces.
