Harumi Flag

Harumi Flag is a residential complex in Harumi with two towers containing apartments of various sizes. The development includes community spaces such as fitness facilities, garden terraces, cafes, libraries, and areas for events and gatherings.

The development transformed the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Village into housing, repurposing temporary Olympic structures for permanent residential use. This conversion reflects how major sporting events can reshape urban areas for long-term community needs.

The towers reflect Japanese design principles through the use of natural materials and water-inspired surfaces that connect residents to their surroundings. People living here experience this design daily through carefully positioned windows and open spaces.

The complex is located in a well-connected area with easy access to public transportation and neighboring districts. Visitors should note that while exterior areas and public spaces can be explored, access to residential sections is restricted as this is a private residential community.

The towers are oriented north-south to provide views toward Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge from many angles. This positioning creates sightlines that frame the water and city skyline through the building's design in ways visitors might not immediately expect.
