Kushizaki Cape Hotel is an abandoned building on Japan's coast that once provided lodging for travelers. The structure features simple architecture and offered views of the sea from multiple sides, though much of it shows damage from fire, weather, and later modifications over time.
The hotel opened in 1968 as a tourism venture but closed within a few years of operation. After closure, it was repurposed to house horses and had caretakers before deteriorating significantly in the 2000s and eventually being demolished.
The location is accessible by car or bus from nearby towns and serves as a base for exploring the coastal area. Note that the building is in a deteriorated state and should be approached with caution as safety hazards are present.
The grounds once featured a large whale-shaped swimming pool and various recreational facilities designed for visitor groups. The site became a location of local interest for exploration due to its history and the unusual architectural features left behind.
