Zabieliai Palace, Baroque palace in Kaunas Old Town, Lithuania
The three-story stone building features an asymmetrical layout with varying window sizes, dark textured plaster walls, and white architectural elements along the facade.
Built in the 17th century for the Zabiela family, the palace changed ownership in 1796 when S. Maištavičius acquired it and initiated a reconstruction project.
The palace includes two notable halls on the upper level: the White Hall with parquet floors and the Black Hall displaying Lithuanian artworks.
Located at Rotušės Square, the palace houses a restaurant and offers guided tours that explain the architectural development through different historical periods.
The structure integrates three architectural periods, with gothic elements in the western base, renaissance features in the center, and classical designs in the eastern wing.
