Monastère de Slanci, Orthodox monastery in Slanci, Serbia.

Slanci Monastery is an Orthodox monastic complex situated on the southern slopes of Milićevo hill near Belgrade in the Palilula district. The site comprises religious structures and spaces used for worship and liturgical functions.

The monastery was founded in 1250 by Saint Sava and later rebuilt in the late 1300s under King Dragutin after he gained control of Belgrade. These two periods shaped the site into its current form.

The monastery operates as a dependency of Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos and maintains Orthodox religious practices that shape daily life at the site. Visitors can observe traditional ceremonies and rituals that give the place its spiritual character.

The site welcomes visitors daily, though certain dress codes and photography restrictions apply in sacred areas. It helps to learn about the community's guidelines before exploring interior spaces.

A spring near the monastery bears the name of Saint Sava and connects the natural landscape to the religious heritage of the place. This water source holds special meaning for pilgrims and visitors.
